About the Album

Paul moves back oop North, leaving Phil in Southampton with the planned follow up to Bastard as a set of demo riffs recorded through headphones and a couple of sets of really bad lyrics. Phil fills the void in his life first with beer, and then with a rather fetching young lady. Eventually, he comes to his senses and writes and records the second Paul and Phil album on his own, using some of the guitar riffs but throwing all the shite lyrics out and writing some fantastic new ones.

The resulting album plays a role in the breakup with the girl, but this is OK, because Phil has crafted a masterpiece, and there are other fetching young women in the world.
